Pedal Path is a cycling tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch: record rides with live GPS, see your route and stats, capture heart rate from your Apple Watch, and ride with friends on shared group leaderboards.
Need help or found a bug? Email support.pedalpath@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you, usually within a couple of days. Including your iPhone model and iOS version helps us help you faster.
How do I record a ride?
Open Pedal Path and tap Start. Allow location access when prompted — it’s needed to track your route. Tap Stop to finish; your ride saves automatically.
Why does the app ask for location?
Location records your route and calculates distance, speed, and elevation. We only track location while you’re recording a ride.
How do I get heart rate?
Wear a paired Apple Watch and grant Health permission when prompted. Heart rate is captured during the ride and shown with your ride stats.
My ride didn’t upload — did I lose it?
No. Pedal Path saves your ride to your device as you go, so a dropped signal or a crash won’t lose your route. It uploads automatically when you’re back online; you can also retry the save from the app.
What does Pedal Path Pro include?
A one-time purchase (no subscription) that unlocks groups and live leaderboards, the map re-centre button, pace-colored route maps, and pause/resume mid-ride.
I bought Pro but it’s not showing / I got a new phone.
Go to Settings → Restore Purchases (also on the Pro screen). Pro is tied to your Apple ID, so restoring re-grants it at no extra charge.
How do groups work?
Create a group and share the invite code, or join one with a code. Members see each other’s ride stats on the group leaderboard.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, rides, and group memberships and can’t be undone.
How is my data handled?
See our Privacy Policy.
iPhone on a recent iOS version. Apple Watch (watchOS 11+) optional, for heart rate during rides.
